Project Change Orders have been added to Sage Intacct in 2021 R3. You have the ability to:
- Link one or more change requests (added in R2) to a project change order
- Easily reference the total price and costs of all linked change requests
- Align statuses between the project change order, change requests, and estimate changes.
- Copy the project change order to a new Order Entry order when you are ready to bill.
A few pointers when working with Project Change Orders
- Linked Change Requests inherit the project change order change request status.
- You can link a change request to a project change order only after you post it.
- The system sets the change request to read-only once you link it to a project change order.
- Change requests must have the same project or a subproject of the project on the change order.
- Removing a change request from a project change order will not reset the status.
- You can remove a change request from a project change order from either the change request or the project change order.
- A project change order requires a non-inventory or non-inventory (sales only) item.
