Sage Intacct 2022 R2 Changes
On May 13th, 2022 Sage Intacct will Release R2. With Sage Intacct, there are 4 releases each year and they are provided for all users running Sage Intacct. This allows clients to always be updated, without having to pay their partner to apply the update.
If you want to preview a release before it’s generally available, please contact ETHOSystems to add you to the program.
We are excited for the changes in 2022, including the new Project Contracts features!
Company and Administration
Added | Export individual fields in Data Delivery Service:Â You can now export specific fields within objects. |
New and updated permissions: We added new permissions for Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Projects. | |
Updated | More insights in the audit trail: We added before and after fields to the Audit History report so you know exactly which values were changed on your records. Get the details. |
Accounts Payable
Added | Vendor summary: Find key vendor information like their last bill and payment dates in the new summary header. |
Updated | Vendor Payments:Â Learn about the new enhancements to Vendor Payments powered by CSI. |
Accounts Receivable
Added | Dunning notices: Introducing Dunning for Accounts Receivable collections. Print or email dunning notices from Intacct to customers based on the number of days overdue or amount due. |
Updated | Updates to receiving payments: New option to turn on automatic credits, shortcuts to create journal entries, adjustments, and advances directly from the Receive payments page. Learn more about the latest updates. |
Budgeting and Planning
Updated | Sage Intacct Planning: Sage Intacct offers an add-on module that greatly expands budgeting and planning capabilities. Learn more. |
Cash Management
Added | Creation rules now generally available: Automatically create journal entries and streamline your reconciliation. |
View and manage transaction templates in a list: Access transaction templates for journal entries in a snap from the new list. | |
Rule set performance log: Get key insight into how rules are running and make updates to improve reconciliation automation. |
Construction
Added | Generate project invoices with project contract billing details:Â Generate project invoices that reflect billing details from project contract lines. |
Integrate project contracts with change management: When you associate project contract lines with project change orders, your project billing reflects pricing changes automatically. | |
Introducing project contracts: Use a project contract and its corresponding project contract lines to capture a mix of billing details and include those details into your construction project billing. | |
Control billed transactions with rate tables and mapped project tasks: Map project tasks to project contract lines to ensure that billed transactions are attributed automatically to the correct project contract line and use the assigned rate table for markups and bill rates. |
Contracts
Added | Evergreen contracts: Manage contracts without end dates with the new Evergreen term type. |
Updated | Fewer steps in some cancellation workflows: Intacct will now automatically apply a cancellation adjustment to the correct contract invoice in scenarios where the invoice will never be paid. |
Generate invoices filter sets have a new name: Generate invoices filter sets are now Invoice policies. |
Inventory Control
Added | Tracking extended to stockable kits: You can now use serial, lot, bin, and expiration tracking for stockable kits and include tracked components in your kits for improved inventory management. |
Cycle count enhancements: We made changes to support more inclusive counts and dimension values for reconciliation. | |
Fulfillment for sales orders: We’re launching fulfillment (Pick, Pack, Ship, and Invoice) in an Early Adopter program. | |
Commit quantities during order entry: We’re introducing the ability to dedicate quantities for specific orders in an Early Adopter program. | |

Default tax details for transactions: Simplify tax calculation in your VAT or GST transactions with default tax details. |
